MANILA, Philippines - There are over 2,000 large taxpayers and many are not compliant to the Bureau of Internal Revenue Regulation 9-2009 requiring large taxpayers to have a Computerized Accounting System (CAS).

 

To help large taxpayers regarding their compliance issues and prepare those medium-sized firms classified by the BIR as large taxpayers, the Center for Global Best Practices is launching a seminar titled, “BIR Computerized Accounting System Compliance for Large Taxpayers,” on June 22, 2017 at the Cebu Marriott Hotel, Cebu City.

 

This seminar will feature seasoned practitioner, Bienvenido Constantino, CPA. His expertise include aligning large taxpayers’ IT-based accounting systems to comply with the regulations on CAS.

 

He is the founder and CEO of Helix Software Technologies, an Australian IT firm specializing in cloud technologies designed for SME, large enterprises as well as for LGUs. His extensive experience includes having worked as IT project director of World Bank projects with the Commission on Audit and the Department of Energy as well as in various USAID initiatives. He finished his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of the Philippines.
