JACQUELINE YU-VILLAR, CPA MBA

Managing Partner

Ms. Jacqueline Y. Villar obtained her first four (4) years of Audit practice at SGV & Co. She became a Group Comptroller to lead the finance shared service and a Finance Director of a Group of Companies engaged in international fund management. She was a Consultant for several years to a Hong Kong-based international Group of Companies dealing with fund management and financial services, with offices in Asia, Europe, North and Central America. She was also engaged for several years and up to present as a Financial Management Consultant of International NGOs like Cordaid Netherlands and Misereor Germany for its partners in the Philippines.
 
Jacquie’s acumen was honed by more than 15 years of servicing a variety of businesses, which includes multinational and local companies operating in varying industries such as pharmaceutical, hospitality, financial services, manufacturing, plantation, mining, distributors, retail, real estate, construction, semicon, media, maritime, services like IT, BPOs and Consulting, GOCCs and International NGOs. Her firm practice includes auditing, finance and accounting, tax advisory and compliance, transfer pricing policy, due diligence or special audits, business consulting and company registrations.
 
She is a Gold Category recipient for the firm awarded by the Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D) in its 2013 International Quality Summit (IQS) held in New York Marriott Marquis Convention Hall, to recognize the strong commitment to Quality, Leadership, Technology and Innovation.
 
She finished her degree in Accounting at the University of Santo Tomas and earned her Master’s in Business Administration at the De La Salle University.

ERICSON D. TADEJA, CPA

Mr. Ericson Tadeja has more than 19 years of combined professional experience in public practice and in government, with a career spanning both locally and internationally. His initial 4 years of practice was as Auditor at SGV & Co. He joined a government agency as the Head of Accounting Department for over 5 years. He further strengthened his public practice as a Senior Manager at Mazars Singapore for 8 years, until 2014, then continue his career as audit partner in the Philippines from January 2015 until today.
 
Involved with the statutory audit  of companies, group of companies (with group reporting) and MNC’s in accordance with Philippines Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), PFRS for Small Medium Entities (SME’s), International Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP.
 
Major involvement with publicly listed companies in SGX mainboard and catalyst, US Nasdaq and ASX and has been involved with due diligence projects. Has been involved with the audits of grants and not-for-profit organizations (ie. Grant given by the European Commission to National University of Singapore, Swiss Foundation Philippines, Childfund Philippines, Couples for Christ, Handicap International and etc.) Has been  appointed by the Philippines Court of Tax Appeal as Independent Certified Public Accountants. Provides training on Full PFRS, PFRS for SME’s, Philippines and International Auditing Standards, Ethics and Independence and Deferred Taxation. Range of industry experience includes hotels, casinos, waste management, hospital, media and advertising, logistics, coal mining, manpower services, ship chartering, trading and manufacturing, construction, ship building, beverage, not-for-profit organizations and investment holding companies.

ATTY. LILET DATO-ABUEL , CPA

Atty. Lilet Abuel is a Lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant. She has wide exposure in corporate taxation and finance. Her proficiency expertise in tax was sharpened by her extensive experience in handling various legal and tax due diligence, particularly in mining and real estate industries.  She has handled various tax related VAT refund cases at the Court of Tax Appeals.  While at SGV, Lilet has been involved in auditing and she received a special award for undertaking a very complex and highly confidential engagement.  
 
She obtained her degree in Accountancy from the University of the East and subsequently her degree in Law at the Lyceum of the Philippines University.
 
Qualifications and Membership: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines, Accredited CPA by the Board of Accountancy, Accredited Tax Practitioner by the Bureau of Internal Revenue in the Philippines, Member – Philippines Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Member – Philippine Bar Association.
